To all former Capital City Men’s Chorus members and any other men out there who like to sing:
We are holding open auditions for our 25th anniversary season, on April 29th!
To schedule an audition please email our Artistic Director, Dr. Jeffrey Jones-Ragona, at artistic.director@ccmcaustin.org Auditions will start at 6:30 pm, Monday, April 29 at Trinity United Methodist Church, at 4001 Speedway, Austin, TX 78751.
Auditions consist of you vocalizing a few notes for our Artistic Director, so that he may place you in the correct voice part of the chorus. You may bring a prepared piece to perform, but it is not necessary.
We are currently rehearsing some music to be performed at the Long Center, in September, in conjunction with the “It Gets Better” project. The remainder of our rehearsals will continue through May 20th. We will then be on break until August 19th, when regular rehearsals will resume for our 25th Anniversary Season!
It is going to be a busy season for the chorus, as we look back to our roots, examine where we are today, and look forward to an even brighter future!
