Capital City Men’s Chorus presents Retrospectives – Capital City Men’s Chorus 30th Anniversary Fall Concert, September 22 – 23 in Rollins Studio Theatre.

As the Capital City Men’s Chorus begins our 30th concert season, we look back at some of our favorite pieces of music: music that inspired, healed, entertained, and even helped to shape what we have become over the past 3 decades. Formed during the darkest days of the AIDS crisis when our main function was healing the grieving and shattered community, the chorus came to inspire other leaders to work for change, gain our Rights, and unite us through that most universal means of expression: Music. In looking back, we remember the pain of those bygone days, and also salute our triumphs and victories, and proclaim our hope for the future.
