The Capital City Men’s Chorus will hold auditions for new members Aug 20, 2012. The auditions will start at 6:30 pm before our first rehearsal at 7:15 pm. The auditions and rehearsal will be at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 4001 Speedway Austin, TX 78751.
Singers are vocalized for placement and to determine skills, but a prepared piece is not necessary. If a singer wants to bring a prepared piece, that is fine, just let us know. An accompanist is provided.
The audition takes only 5-7 minutes. After that, the singer is introduced to his section leader and the chorus Membership Liaison. The orientation meeting will begin at 7:15 pm. and conclude in a hour, followed by social time.
